| It would be incredible if the Lockyer takeover were to happen- not overly keen on the proposed choice of coach either. I know there’s little room for sentiment in professional sports but I’d hope that there would be a role offered to Mike Eccles. He’s worked miracles to get us into Superleague, what could he have achieved had we not been immediately doomed to relegation by IMG? Add to the fact that he’s again worked miracles to keep a team going, often not knowing from one week to the next who’s going to be available to play.
Exciting times ahead?

| As i posted elsewhere, who can forget the drop off in coaching when Tank Gordon was replaced with the underwhelming Gary Grienke?
Mike is the heart of the club, lose him & lose the heartbeat.

| Looks like it is happening and it’s going to be a big change. No more 10th place in the Championship for the near future. Looks like new manager, new club captain, clear out of players and an Aussie centric focus. A bit unnerving but change was needed and this what the people willing to risk their money want so well have to see. Won’t be dull. Looking forward to seeing how it plays out. One thing is for sure we won’t be recruiting ex Skolars players but I do hope we bring through some Southern based players not just rely on imports. I assume Poselli and Webster Mansfield would be retained. Tindell is obviously of the standard but you’d assume some interest from Northern clubs would be forthcoming. Natolihas been in great form but ifs going back to Pia. Sid has been playing as well as I’ve seen home and Lovell has had a good season. Wonder if he’ll call it a day? O bearne has played well in recent games but that strikes me as a position we might recruit to if we have funds. Bienek, obviously stays and Stock. I think Worthington and Davies have done really well for us so who knows.

| I would assume, under Darren Lockyer's ownership the club will remain Broncos. This will please many!

| Site seems to be working a bit better tonight!
Cautious optimism from me. And any kind of optimism is completely out of character. They'd be fools to get rid of Mike Eccles though. He's the linchpin of the club.
But you never know what people will do. @DeadCowboys1 mentioned Mr Grienke—the super coach—who put Mark Riley on the wing (when he played him at all) because Alfie Langer's brother was Alfie Langer's brother.
(I'm 100% aware I'm obsessed about bobble hats and Mark Riley)
