| Whenever Bradford raise their ugly heads, my mind goes back to1980 & the challenge match after some disparaging comments by them against Fulham. Needless to say a Dave Allen 4 try inspired performance smashed them into the dirt. More of the same this weekend boys please.
Who says I can't hold a grudge?

| Another season passes and I’ve seen Broncos lose more than win. The difference this year was we were mostly competitive in defeat. Bulls are a very big side. Their 37 and 3 have their own post codes. We were dominant first half but didn’t post enough points. They cut through us a few too many times with the crowd very much on the refs back. No idea whether they were right or wrong but I did think he went through a bit of a phase of giving multiple marginal 6 agains without reciprocating against them. Not a bad performance from us generally. I think BHH failed an HRA, Sid went off too and Anatolia and Poscelli looked like they picked up knocks. Good atmosphere and we scored a few decent tries. Next season I’d like to see us winning. I guess we’ll hear what the deal is shortly. Hopefully before all the good players have been signed up by others. BT W this site is a bit of a nightmare to post on these days. Takes ages to navigate. I guess that’s why a few have not been posting as much.

| Agree about the site, it’s not been easy to post since the upgrade a while back.
This season I’ve probably managed half a dozen or so games but I thought for the first 25-30 minutes we were as good as I’ve seen. Kept Bradford comfortably at bay, ran in a couple of tries, dominated possession but - and there is a but - we failed to make the most of it! I hoped we could have kept them to nil at the break but we gave away a soft try , and then conceded another ( which I’d missed as I’d gone to get a pizza thinking there wasn’t time for anything else to happen before the half time hooter!).
Second half Bradford came out a different side and we struggled to match their speed or intensity. A try gave us a toe hold but their final try finished us off. As did the repeat sets they got . Two nice late tries for Tindall down our left, cut out passes from Walker I think - if only we’d tried that earlier as Bradford’s 3 and 37 didn’t look to be on the same wavelength. Or any wavelength defensively.
Disappointing result ultimately but not as frustrating as being mugged by Batley , and failing to overcome Widnes ( who offered very little) at PL . Perhaps we can finish the season on a high and turn them over at their place.
Finally l hope Darren Lockyer liked what he saw, and hopefully thinks there’s enough potential for him to invest.

| After the game whilst waiting for my wife a Bradford fan came and asked me if I thought we would get into Super League. I said I thought that we probably would. Her response was that we should not because we have only ten away fans. I stopped her there ans told her she was 100% wrong there. We had twenty at Batley. She walked off in disgust with the words. Well we have a better ground than you and we own it. Deluded or what?

| In fairness Victor, Batley is the Paris of the North so you can see why it was such a draw for jaded Londoners but having looked at Bradford’s City of Culture 2025 website really can’t understand why only 10 Londoners would turn up. It’s page after page of world class stuff. Anyway off to take more glue now.

After many visits to the glories that Bradford has to offer, although not for a number of years now, it's not the football or RL that's worth it but they do have some very good curry houses. But, of course, so does Tooting.
