Why be so unnecessarily pessimistic? 

It's our first year back in Super League with a very young side, including all our foreign players and we still managed to get into the Top 6, even though we had the 2nd worst injury crisis of any club in SL. That to me show what we're about as a cluib nowadays and it took a load of effort and skill, which shows where we can get to next season with better luck with injuries and with the addition of the likes of Jazz, Smoothy and Tray Lolesio, plus whoever else we might add. 


All our players after this years experience are only gonna get better and learn from it. Caius, Vagana, Seth, Uele, Rodwell, Stourton, Hall, Pratt, Scott, Smith, Myers and Rourke, they're all 25 and under. We also managed to get in that top 6, missing so many of that pack, and spine, on and off all year. We really did have some crazy patch worked sides, with back rowers & hookers playing as middles and Pitts and Jowitt playing as half backs. For me it's pretty amazing we achieved what we did and beat the sides we did. With a little more consistency, we'd have made that Top 6 even easier as well, if we converted just half of those 4/6 point games we lost next time.


While I'm sure it's not just me, I'm really looking forward to next season, riding this high at Trinity &  continue to improve the ground and pack it out again & hopefully finish higher and have a better run in the play-offs and Challenge Cup.

I am looking forward to next year and already got my hospitality booked , but got to the age were I call it like I see it ,.Is it down to consistency or have we overachieved. Next season should tell us .

Anyone else think that last night's stewards outside the ground were totally OTT?


Body searching everyone - well, certainly all the men - head to toe, front and back, empty your pockets, take off your hat, remove bottle tops.


It's like they expected us to be a bunch of 1970/80's football hooligans.   Weird, but also very annoying.

We went in the other entrance and there was none of that. All they did was search bags and put tags on them to confirm they had been searched and we were in. 
The thing that annoyed all of us was that horrendous racket coming over the speakers at 500 decibels. (Even though I'm 60 I do like a lot of modern music, but that was just ridiculous...I could understand it if it was something that the fans could join in with, but even the Leigh fans didn't seem the least bit interested...it was just White Noise) 


One thing (person) I was impressed with was Degsy. Now I'll admit the guy can be a bit of a noob when he wants to be, but I was seriously impressed when he came down to our end with Matty Ellis at the end of the game and lauded Matty in front of us, when Leigh were celebrating their victory in front of their fans down the other end...that was a brilliant gesture on his part 

I agree with the music volume.   Absolutely horrendous!


I went into the stand, and had to go back on to the concourse underneath for 3/4 hour.   It was giving me a headache.
